Where I Work

Most of my work is in the United Kingdom, where I take interim and contract engagements as a programme director. I also work with organisations abroad, either remotely or on site depending on what the programme needs.

Programme recovery, ERP implementation rescue and multi site rollouts travel well. The problems are the same everywhere: governance that has stopped functioning, vendors nobody is holding to account, and a board that has lost confidence in the reporting. Time zones matter less than most people expect.

Working Remotely or On Site

For programmes outside the UK the usual pattern is an on site diagnostic phase followed by remote delivery leadership, with periodic visits at the points that genuinely need someone in the room. That keeps cost sensible without losing the thing that makes recovery work, which is a senior person who is actually accountable.
